In a Nutshell !

Our project is focused on Salts production in a more sustainable way, within a circular economy, GREEN SALT. Our target is to produce healthier salts from the Atlantic Ocean, and avoid natural evaporation process that has been used widely worldwide, which exposes salts to other contaminations reducing it's purity and causing long term health issues. Using advanced water desalination technology we are able to demineralize water as a secondary product, which we are aiming to utilize for food & Green Hydrogen production, both of which requires pure H2O to produce efficiently.

Salt & Water

There are many ways in which salt has been recovered and refined from nature, most common of which was through natural evaporation, controlled or driven by climatic conditions. The decisive factor in the process is the amount of H2O within the different minerals, salts body. From a few milligrams of salt in rivers up to lakes with 10 X times the salinity of oceans, transforming into Salt lakes, which are drying out. The beauty about ocean seawater is that its constant, and over hundreds of years people have been either getting their salts from mountain enclaves or directing seawater inland into small shallow lakes, and closes them allowing the sun to evaporate the water and crystallize salts. We have taken this past route and enhanced it with innovative desalination & salty brines concentration processes that created many benefits to our product portfolio of salts, recovered almost 50-70 % of the water as demineralized the we shall utilize into food & energy.

The First Project of its Kind!

We are the first company to be combining salt & power production in a green way in line with all global visions towards a Greener World as a means to combating climate change and off setting Carbon. While we produce salt in a more efficient way, utilizing the latest desalination technologies, we are producing precious demineralized water that is necessary to producing Hydrogen, and due to Angola's proximity from Europe, and in line with its Leadership's vision, Angola is utilizing it's Hydropower, to be one of the first to producing Green Hydrogen and transport it to Europe, as an alternative fuel and the carbon neutral path towards reversing climate change hopefully in the near future. Together with our partners, we are utilizing innovative Solar Thermal technologies that will be combined with multiple desalination processes to enable us to produce highly concentrated brines for higher purities salts.

Our technology partners have more than 40 years experience in treating & desalinating water & energy, which they are eager to transfer to Angola. Africa is growing and technology is part of its growth, we must embrace it, and not be scared of it, and use it to our advantage and our nature's as well. Our project shall become a seed of knowledge that would sponsor science and evolution of a greener circular economy.
