Salt is magical in its nature, when dried out of water, it becomes those shiny crystals that change the taste of life. It dries out any fish when it covers it, yet in water fish can't live without!
The seas & oceans are lighter to swim in the more saltier they are, yet without water they are mountains of white powder. Since humans used salt to seasons and contrast the different tastes of food, mankind has been extracting and refining salt in every nation. Using it to preserve, to gift, to heal, to clean with, and of course in their daily intake of food and water. Moving forward in line with nature and to combating climate change we nurture renewable energy to be carbon negative, and one way of doing so, is to produce Green Hydrogen, in a circular economy, and that's exactly what we are here for, Green Salt & Hydrogen in one place, for a better world. Angosal Atlantica Refinery, the first Green Salt Refinery, that co-produces Green Hydrogen, and going to be powered by it. Join our way of life, join our Green Spirit!
Compressed layers of salts have always caught the attention of early humans due to its unique colors and shinny reflections. It was also easier obtained than sea salt, and was traded over the older routes, and gifted between rulers of the ancient world's.
Not only did early civilization cared for their afterlife and looked for ways to preserve their bodies, but they also learned how to preserve food by salt. World wide this technique was used by the Eskimos in the north, and the Mauritians in the South to preserve fish and keep its for months and years in times of winter, travel or famine.
Bartering was the monetary path of the first ones, and salt was certainly one of the best commodities to use. People used to take what was necessary for their survival and trading activities, when our numbers were moderate and sustainable, but now we have seen what we could do with salt in our lives and require vast amounts to cater for much more than food.
We have managed to cater for our high consumption and create supply chains that serve our global needs.
Connecting our industrial revolution to clean technology and reducing our waste is the key to a circular greener economy for a sustainable world. Green salt is Power of the future
